Thanks everybody in advance!

I am new to PLC Programming so have few idea how to proceed to programming in Modicon PL7 Pro. I have gone through PL7 Pro's demo program which come with the software but I can't get much idea from the example. If possible does anyone can send me simple example like three phase motor control or something similar so that it can help me to a lot get the idea how to program. Also after I have programmed in PL7 Pro a program, how can I be sure that there is nothing wrong in the program and would give the desired result. I have heard about a proram like simulator which can check the correctness of the program. Is there any simulator for PL7 Pro?

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

I have heard about a program like simulator which can check the correctness of the program. Is there any simulator for PL7 Pro?

I am also starting programming in PL7 environment, and frankly speaking - simulator would be great facility for me. Please if you find something let me know at lao[at]tlen.pl - I'd be happy to share some experience.

Thanks.

Interesting; I'm starting a course on automation, and know Siemens do a "practise version" of their step 7 software, and I imagined such would exist for pl7 pro too (it shouldn't be difficult to strip down the industrial version, and add some software read outs?) so I'd like to try this out too! Can anyone tell me how to obtain a copy?

More important though, I'm tryng to track down Schneiders on-line english language manuals (the training course is in French, and so a bit of a struggle) for pl7 pro, but Schneider UK couldn't help (I know it exists; I've seen a print-out at college). Can anyone provide a link, and for any on-line tutorials which may exist?

Thanks in advance; any replies to [email protected]

Hi!

You have to use Unity Pro. Based on the acknowledged standards of PL7 and Concept, Unity Pro opens the door to a comprehensive set of new functions for achieving greater productivity and software collaboration.

Thanks to integrated converters, PL7 and Concept
applications are available in Unity Pro. This optimizes your software investment, reduces training costs and offers unrivaled potential for development and
compatibility.

PLC simulator on the PC enables applications to be fully
tested before being installed on site.
