Both communications ports of CPU51 (omron cqm1h) are used in the system. peripheral port is connected to programmable terminal (omron nt30) and rs232 port is connected to one more cpu51 (omron cqm1h).
At present the red ERR/ALM indicator of first cpu lights. I could use CX programmer 2.1 but I don't know how to do it (where to connect and what cable). Is it possible to delete this fatal error from cpu using cx programmer or to know what kind of error I have at least?

Thanks for advance.

may be a hardware configuration error. Look in the CX_programmer at IO Table and Unit setup, and then click on the [0000]Main Rack

There are several options available.
The NT30 might be talking to the PLC using the same protocol and the programming protocol (sysmac Host link) [the other option is NT-Link].

The other port is probably set in 'PC-Link' mode to allow easy communication between PLC's.

Best way to check for the NT30 is to see what protocol it is set to (press any two corner touch switches then go into one of the menu's [cant remember right now].

If NT is set to NT-Link, then you will need to switch on one of the DIP switches on the front of the CPU to change the port to Host Link (default 9k6, 7data even parity, 2 stop) then you just need the correct cable to connect to the PC.

Hope this is a start - please email me if you want detailed help.
