PLC for Burner management system

I'm an C&I engineer and I work in oil and gas companies. I'm working for the upgrade of a duct burner in which we have an obsolete safety monitor (The Safety Monitor is a logic system monitor designed to maintain plant safety in the event of a primary logic system failure or malfunction).

As a solution I want to replace this safety monitor with a "safety PLC" based burner management system, and I need more information and if this PLC can be more than a Burner management system ..

HIMA has and can configure some special BMS safety PLC's with also special BMS application software, depending on the specific needs.
