Vibration Protection

is there any standard/world practice for selection vibration sensor type (switch, proximity, seismic,...) to protect from vibration of air fan cooler (AFC)?

where is the location of sensor will be installed? on fan structure or gear, motor bearing?

Hi,

I can advice you to use a vibro switch to protect your air fan cooler (if used on oil and gas). I advise you too to read the CEI IEC 60034-14 standard.

The best location to install the sensor is on the rigid location, The motor/the structure/the gear, not on the Fan.
