Mitsubishi PLC and BACnet
I am looking for a way to allow my Mitsubishi FX2N PLC to link to a BACnet network (and/or LonWorks).

I am looking for a way to allow my Mitsubishi FX2N PLC to link to a BACnet network (and/or LonWorks). I have found plenty of protocol converters but either the serial protocol does not match or networking format is not compatible. Does anyone have experience with this or know where I might go to find a solution?

Thanks.

Hi

Depending on the protocol interface that is loaded on the Mitsubishi PLC, http://www.fieldserver.com has a wealth of experience of connecting PLCs to BACnet interfaces. FieldServer supports five different BACnet interfaces.

Richard

The signal levels as well as the protocol as 'special'.
Len Shustek has done some good work which he has posted here:

Was considering adding it to the list of protocols for a little BACnet controller I am making: http://www.temcocontrols.com.
