Watermist application for Turbine hood

we have a project for installing watermist system for an existing 20 year old Turbine hood. We are faced with following problem:

The IP (Ingress Protection) rating of the existing junction boxes and motor within the Turbine hood enclosure are IP44. The requirement of watermist system on electrical equipment is IP 55 rating.

We do not want to replace existing junction boxes.

Did somebody come across such situation? If yes, how was it resolved?

The response will be appreciated.

The Marioff Hi-Fog water mist system has been tested and approved by FM Global for the protection of gas turbine enclosures, machinery spaces and special hazard machinery spaces for volumes up to and including 500 cubic meters (17,700 cubic feet). We have testing that confirms that our high pressure water mist techonology with droplets in the range of 50 to 80 microns has no penetration effect in junction boxes. The Hi-Fog water mist is discharged through a maximum of four spray heads and requires stainless steel tubing with sizes ranging from 16 mm to 12 mm OD.

I note from other Google search results that IP24 has been tested with these products and failed. IP54 and better boxes passed. I guess it would depend how rigorous a test you do and what you consider an acceptable failure rate. IP55 is reasonable if you can't lose the equipment. IP44 might be OK for short, distant blasts.
