Manual Project Migration - Citect V6 to V7
Software, including programming, OS issues, etc. topic
Posted by JoeM on 18 July, 2008 - 2:36 am
My boss likes to do Manual Project Migrations between versions of Citect. I'm new and he has set me a task of doing a manual Version 6 to 7 migration as a learning exercise. He was explaining it yesterday and one of the guys in the office was explaining it a bit today, but I don't get it yet. Save_dbf.xls is used quite a bit. Can anyone point me to a good howto on this?

In V6.1 Help:
Using CitectSCADA > Configuring CitectSCADA Projects > The CitectSCADA Database Structure > Special considerations for Microsoft Excel

Also see the knowledge base for more information as you will see a copy on your install CD/DVD.
