Earthing
Engineering and workplace issues. topic
Posted by jwalant joshi on 1 August, 2008 - 11:27 pm
Can anyone help me about how earthing is done in automation panels like PLCs and DCSs? I mean when incoming is 415vac then its earth is connected with that of substation side earth, but after rectifying that, how is supply DC voltage connected with earth? Also how are the card's earth and panel's earth all connected? What information should be available while engineering such wiring? How is floating supply connected?
