GC data normalisation for Natural Gas custody transfer
PLCs and related questions. topic
Posted by Rajendran on 26 August, 2008 - 12:52 am
Hi,

Ours is a Natural Gas custody transfer application. We are using an Emerson D-Analyzer (2350A) GC. We have a PLC which is connected to GC, reading the GC raw data (UN normalized).

Since GC don’t measure the moisture present in Gas, we are using a moisture analyzer Ametek 3050-OLV, analog output of the same is connected to PLC.

What we are trying to achieve is to add this moisture component in to the raw GC data and get the 100% mole composition.

Can any one guide how to do this? Also can omni 6000 flow computers do this function with out using PLC?

Thanks,
Raj
