With respect to Orifice plates I have 2 questions

1) We all know that Beta ratio range is from 0.2 to 0.7 . I want to know what has let to this range of Beta ratio?

2) For Eccentric Orifice plates why is there a line line size restricion ( min & max = 4" & 14" respectively)

My guess is the accuracy falls off outside that range.

That's news to me, are you sure it's not just one vendor?
