Modbus TCP/ IP to GE Fanuc 90-30
Communications systems and equipment. topic
Posted by Pick on 1 November, 2009 - 9:43 am
When using ModScan to poll the 9030 30xxx or 40xxx registers, any address greater than 30032 or 40032 returns an exception error. It will read 32 words starting at 30001 or 40001, but will not read anything above 30032 or 40032 even at a word length of 1. I know there is an offset between standard Modbus and GEF addressing. The DFS equipment needs standard Modbus addressing. Any thoughts?
