Hello, is there any software that i can simulate ladder logic, same like this link http://www.plc-course.com/Sample-PLC-projects/plc-ladder-logic-simulator.html, but i need more function like Time element, memory (flip flop), if you know please show me the download link

but, I mean software that i can customize the ladder and have simulation on it, dynamically. the link that i showed it only contain OPERATOR, is there any software that have not only OPERATOR (ie. time delay, coil, math function, etc).

Download the free software called ZelioSoft by Schneider, its the software that you use to program the Telemechanique smart relay SR2 series, which have a powerful ladder logic and Function Block logic programming language exactly like a PLC. You can write the code and simulate it all within the programming software without having any hardware connected. It is really great and easy to use.

I realize this is an old post, but people will still read it to this day, so wanted to give some extra advice to the reader. The PLC simulator (like LogixPro) is a learning tool, and I recommend if you are first starting out, you take a basic PLC course first. If using the the LogixPro, recommend a RSLogix 500 specific basic course so you will be more familiar with that brand and software. It will be less frustrating for the beginner trying to figure out how to write logic simulations. A 2 CD set example is at http://bin95.com/ebooks/plc_training_simulator.htm. It is an inexpensive PLC training course (RSLogix 500 PLC emulator approach) with free LogixPro PLC Simulation CD as 2nd CD, but not all free. (Anything worth you time seldom is completely free.)

One final piece of PLC training advice, 'Free' will often teach you 'how to', but seldom teaches you the Best Way to. With PLC training and potential damage to man or machine, you want to learn the "Best Way To".

Hope this helps those new to PLCs reading this post.

Another option is to buy a less expensive PLC (e.g. Automation Direct Click PLC) or PLR (TECO SG2) and there is usually some ladder-type software included with it.
