RADAR level transmitter is suitable? if so which is type is suitable GWR OR FMCW?

My suggestion would be to rather use a capillary DP transmitter with the correct material to resist the SA on the chemical seal.
If you must use a Radar either type will work fine, but again I have to warn you that it is not everyone that knows how to setup these radars and also you will have to ask the supplier to supply them in a certain material to resist the SA.

If you have all this in hand, cap DP or Radar will work for your application.

I can also tell you not to use the DP if the sg of the SA will change from time to time and if there will be a lot of foam and emulsion in the vessel rather use the GWR and not the FMR.

 

we are using Vega make,model no: PULS53KXDXAP1K Radar type transmitter for 98.5% sulfuric acid storage tank level application. We think that this type of transmitters are working well.

Radar would work quiet fine. Ultrasonic would work fine as well.
DP cells with seal are reliable but the capilary and making mechanical protection makes it difficult to use.

hey...why don't you use purge/bubbler type that's cost effective and best
