We want to replace some pneumatic transmitter to electronic transmitter which is operating at 400oC. All transmitter are directly connected to the impulse line of process. can we replace the all or we have to care for temperature. How we replace this transmitter with electronic one.

Most industrial pressure transmitters can operate around 100 or 110°C at the meter body, in surrounding ambient temperatures of about 85°C (depends on mfg and model).

Somewhere on this forum is a discussion of a length of dead headed impulse tubing dropping temperature.

Mounting an electronic transmitter on a length of impulse tubing long enough to drop the temperature to what the device can tolerate is typical.

If there's significant radiated heat in the area, a heat shield would be warranted. Heat kills electronics.
