Calibration of control valve Positioner

i am working in Liquid\Gas Oxygen and Nitrogen Plant and i have to work with lots of Control Valves positioner.
so i am having lots of problem while calibrating the control valve. it is therefore i request your good self to kindly give me some of the steps to calibrate the Control Valve Positioner.

I think you might do well to give a more complete description of just what you mean by calibrate. It means a lot of different things to different people.

A lot of times it is effectively a check to see if the thing works "well enough". Other times it is a more rigoruous setup procedure.

A lot depends on just what it is you expect the positioner to do. If it is controlled by a PID loop that uses feedback such as flow or pressure to set the valve output, actually calibrating the positioner itself may not be all that important.
