How to configure Profibus to Modbus module communication in TXP Control system GSD file put in ES but no communication? defined et200 module in ap & programmed memory card with generated memory card data from ES. concern is that how system will broadcast n recognize device? Looking for some help Manufacture do not have experience with simatic s5 module

 

Simply putting a GSD file in the ES will not change anything. The hardware used in TXP is not expandable. You cannot add new modules to the source. If you are looking to do profibus to modbus you can use a ProSoft module which does not require you to install their GSD file. The module will work in PASSIVE mode. Check their website to find the module you need.
