Can the Motorola ACE3640 RTU be used with the XTL5000 radio in a conventional (non-trunking) point-to-point mode?
The Motorola STS config software for the ACE3600 RTUs only allows selecting the XTL5000 radio under trunking mode (i.e. Smartnet, Smartzone, Simulcast, etc) and not under conventional mode.
We just need a simple point-to-point link between two RTUs, both using the XTL5000.
I can provide more information if necessary.
