Do you have the copy of the original program?
Meaning, you have the project file that you could open in SIMATIC Manager?
If you do, display your program in STL and you could see that the 1st line of the program has label 'KNOW_HOW_PROTECT'.
If this line is removed, the program is no longer protected.
If you do not have the project file, you could not unprotect.
And, if you upload the program directly from the PLC which is protected, the program would remain protected and you could not view and modify the program.
Simply, you need the project file to reprogram the protected program.
Hope this help.

Hi Marcelo,
What plc are you using? S7-200, S7-1200, S7-300 or S7-400? What cpu model? Do you have it's reference?
