Hello everyone, your friendly local Moderator here,
On Wednesday, I was listening to On Point, a program on WBUR, one of my local NPR stations. It was about the orgins of digital computing. At the time I was listening to it I thought the show would interest many of the readers of this forum.
The information on the show is at http://onpoint.wbur.org/2012/03/21/george-dyson.
At the top of the page is a link to listen on line or download an mp3 file. If you scroll down there is a couple of videos, including a TED talk and a few other interesting videos.
Given the recent thread that referenced Turing, I found this broadcast really interesting. Hope some of you find this as interesting as I did.
Regards,
Peg Ferraro
