Modbus Master & Slave Code for PIC24F and dsPIC33F?

I'm interested in Modbus master code for a dsPIC33F, and Modbus slave code for a PIC24F.

What are my options for free, commercially employable source code master and slave Modbus implementations for these, or any vaguely related embedded microcontrollers?

Failing that, then what would my best starting point be, for master and slave Modbus ports to such devices?
