First, I am not very familiar with this Abb Advant/ OS 520 work Station/HMI System but I will try to be as clear as I can.
The HMI has several "Main Menu" displays; from these you can select "Sub Menus" that represent different areas Maint, Analysis, etc. Typically when one of the sub menus are selected it will "overlap" the main menu any present a list of available displays for that area. Recently when any of the Sub Menus are selected texts appears at the bottom of the display "Max 0 overlapping displays are allowed" and the sub menu does not open. There have not been any changes to the system that I am aware of. I have searched all available publication that I have and cannot find the source of this problem.
The system uses the Advacommand Software Ver. 1.8/6. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.
