What is 2002 & 2003 logic?
and how it is implemented??
under what conditions they are required??
I am working on a project where client requirements are following...
"In order to avoid trips on false indications of limit switch, it is proposed to have 2/2 logic, by including an additional logic to the existing system. Thus the two logics would be "3rd stage discharge pressure trip to be created and set @ 12 barg* initiation of XV-50247 "CLOSE" feedback limit switch...
Can anybody explain what does it says?? and respond the following ..
1- When and why do we use 2002 & 2003 logic?
2- how do we decide to use 2003 is suitable or 2002, under what conditions?
3- explanation of above client requirements..
4- Is this require any SIL study??
