Just want to sharpen my skills in mechanical engineering

Mechanical engineering plays vital role in measurement and control especially electro-mechanical control systems and control system components.

I have good knowledge about electronics and applied computers but have no knowledge of mechanical systems as it is very important in robotics and mechatronics also.

Please guide me with some good web resources / books for elements in mechanical engineering.
