Conditioning orifice plate is a new flow measuring device, which requires short straight pipe length. But some vendors say that its permanent pressure loss is as low as a venturi. Is this true or false?
I noticed that Rosemount does not mention this parameter.

 

Contrary to popular belief, Rosemount does not make two of everything. But in this case, they certainly do. Look for the Rosemount 1595 Conditioning Orifice Plate on Google and you will find all the information you need.
