Hi,
Bottom water of a crude oil tank is required to be drain automatically so that it's admixture with the crude oil can be avoided. Tank has four numbers of 2" bottom drain pipes at four locations across the tank. Can anyone suggest the solution?
Solution could be like an instrument which will detect the presence of water and send the signal (preferably FFbus) to the DCS which in turn will actuate the On/Off valve installed just after the water-sensing instrument.
Thanks
