The 38th Engine Systems Symposium will be held at Cranfield University on the 26th and 27th of March, 2013.

It is run by the MSc Thermal Power students under the endorsement of the Department of Power and Propulsion.

Engine Systems Symposium is an on-going tradition at Cranfield University. It has been running from the early 1980’s with the continuing objective of increasing knowledge and generating ideas toward the development and improved reliability of gas turbine engine systems. Students will present topics on various aspects of turbo machinery. This experience will include broadly exchanging research, knowledge and information, as well as learning from the feedback of expertise within the audience.

Expecting a diverse range of audiences including major gas turbine manufacturers, maintenance contractors, technical societies, software developers, publishers and any interested individuals. Moreover, we would like to extend this event to provide opportunities for interaction with the students in regard to paper presentations. Further details on the symposium can be found on www.38-ess.wix.com/cranfield.

Reservations can be made online. Attending the symposium is free of cost.
