DEAR Sohil

You can study about MS60001 in GE Document:
GER4217B Uprate option for the MS6001 Heavy duty Gas Turbine

If you are not aware of it, the 2 middle digits on a turbine Model Name are the output Horsepower in thousands so a 6581 is 58,000 SHP. Exactly what other differences there is between the 56 and the 58, I don't know. If you need to know more than this, I have 6581 machines here and can send you the Control Spec.

Friends, please note the following example

Example: MS6001…… PG6581FA
PG 6 58 1 FA
PG = Application - Package or - IN; indoor or - SP; Super package
6 = Series -frame 5,6 or 7
58 = power - Approx. Output power in Hundreds, or 10 Thousands of Horsepower
1 = Number of shafts - 1 or 2
FA = Model

General electric Co.(GE) offers heavy duty gas turbine for power generation and industrial applications. The heavy duty product line consists of six different model series; MS3002, MS5000, MS6001, MS7001and MS9001 and H series ( High power).

The MS5000 is designed in both single- and two-shaft configurations for both generation and mechanical-drive applications. The MS5000 and MS6001are gear driven units that can be applied in 50HZ and 60HZ markets.

All units larger than frame 6 are single shaft drive units. The MS7000 series units that are used for 60HZ and rotational speeds is 3600 rpm. The MS9000 series units used for 50HZ and rotational speed is 3000 rpm. In generator drive application the product line covers a range from approximately 35800 hp to 345600 hp. H series is for both 50 and 60HZ applications.
