What are the good practices for installation of Machinery Bearing Temperature Elements (specially RTD) to prevent any spikes in the reading.
We have faced lots of machine trips due to bearing RTD's hunting, although wires in local JB are tightened properly.

There may be various reasons. Some of them are listed below
1. Improper grounding of system: The machine monitoring system is susceptible to malfunction due to improper grounding and this appears to be the biggest cause.
2. Oil in JB: Some time bearing oil may creep in JB and may cause the problem. though i have not faced such situations.
3. Lose wires.
But the biggest cause is improper grounding of the system
