I work in a 200MW combined cycle power plant as electrical operator entry level, and i will like to know the procedure or what to do when the outgoing line breaker trips?
Mention the details how many outgoing lines do you have and what is busbar scheme there?
Generally if there are two lines and one gets trip the load will shift to 2nd one line and if the current is within limits then nothing will happen to 2nd one line.
But prompt action is to reduce load of your station for saving the complex getting trip, and get coordinate with load dispatch center for reducing load on your out going line.
