Hi

In one of our system, we found pitting in between two copper busbar fastened together with nut-bolt arrangement. This pitting was not visible from outside but when the busbar was opened during turaround, it as noticed. Now these pits are deep can can not be removed by machining of the busbar by one or two mm. This is quite big copper busbar and can not be replaced so easily.

Is there any way to fill these pits with some kind of conductive paste? or any other technology to fill these pits. I came to know that copper welding is good option but it need again removal of whole busbar and preheat it. In such condition i am afraid of deformation of busbar due to heating.

Any other option if someone is aware off please share.
