My original question would be as to what a "Push Button" Emergency Shutdown System would be classified? I am working on creating a format for the plants Interlocks which under my understanding classify as SIS. What all types of equipment qualify as an SIS (refinery setting)?
My second question is if someone knows a practical means in bringing in practices from IEC/ISA into a plant that has never really used such practices?
