In our Gas Turbine SGT5 4000f we have only fuel gas premix burners (No diffusion or lean-lean). How is it possible to have stable premix burners at low load operation? Can anyone explain this retrofit in detail?
Besides I am confused a bit how the fuel gas flow uniformly distributed to all 24 Burners (Annular Combustion chamber) as the flexible hose from the ring header doesn’t have any restriction orifice for throttle valve to provide even flow to all burners?
