problems:
1. i have 3 feeder system where its right now hardwired and i have my control system in a remote place right know i am having lot of cables going from here.
2. many digital logic are using hard wired connections to implement the circuit, tedious process to generate logic for different cases
solution
to 1st issue my idea is to digtalize these 3 feeder variable so that i decrease the number of cables.
to 2nd issue use of microcontroller or plc would lead to a easy development
my doubt is that what should i use in the control system a commercial plc or a microcontroller brained pcb.
i want the control unit to be selected on basis of temperature stability , magnetic interaction , dust and other parameters.
