Limit switch

S
According to the catalog page from the Grainger website, your switch is rated at 15A, 480VAC/DC, so you're fine, assuming you're not trying to switch more than 15A. (In practice, I'd never switch 15A directly with a limit switch, but would drive a relay or contactor) In general, almost all mechanical limit switches, whether microswitch style or plastic or die-cast industrial style, are perfectly suitable (and explicitly rated) for switching 24VDC.

They typically have a separate DC rating, which is often lower in voltage and or current because DC, lacking zero crossings, will arc more when the switch opens. Even at the lower rating, it's generally ample for normal limit switch duty, driving a PLC input, or switching a relay, contactor, or solenoid valve.
