Reading or writing Text (string) from OPC in CS3000

Hi,

I am working in a pharma company and the situation is - They have CS3000 system working in here. They have a separate scanning system which scans the Batch number and feeds into the OPC.

We need to display this data in the graphics of CS3000 as well as vice versa. i.e. Write into OPC a String/text from the CS3000 system.

Is it possible to read or write Text to and from CS3000 into OPC? If yes, how?

please help.
