Oil injector in Turbine Oil System

I am working in 270 MW steam turbine unit as an operation engineer. Two oil injectors are provided in the suction line of turbine main oil pump.

I want to know its function and how does it actually work.

Thanks

The shaft driven oil pump requires a positive suction pressure (i.e. it cannot suck oil from the tank). Part of the high pressure discharge from the main oil pump is sent to the ejector. The ejector is a venturi jet pump which uses the velocity of the high pressure oil to suck a larger quantity of oil from the tank and supply it to the suction of the shaft driven main oil pump.

My experience with this type of oil system is limited; would it be possible for you to provide a similar scan of your dual ejector arrangement?
