Hi Everybody

The Analog input coming from the transmiter is 4mA but the Yokogawa raw value (0-100%) is 13.5% instead of 0%.

I'm new with the Yokogawa DCS, is there another way to check the raw value other than in Tunning-Raw Value?

The analog module is AAI143, the transmitter is Pyromation Series 440.

Recently there was an unresolved thread involving the same model Yokogawa AI, here

Offsets can be indicative of a ground loop/common mode issue.

But, the Pyromation 440 is an RTD input, and RTDs are inherently isolated sensors, and it's a 2 wire transmitter, unlike the ADAM which has an active output.

I'm not familiar with the Yokogawa O/S, so I can't help you with the raw value check other than to recommend that you check the input signal with meter to make sure it's what you think it should be.

Please post any resolution you come up with.

Tunning-Raw Value should be

4 mA ----> 0%
6.16 mA ----> 13.5%
8 mA ----> 25%
12 mA ----> 50%
16 mA ----> 75%
20 mA ----> 100%

so, you must use multimeter. put it in series in the loop to check which value you get out from the transmitter. after that you can decide what your next step.

I checked the Tunning parameters and there is an error.

Maybe is a good idea to do an offline download?
