I have difficulties to measure interface level for drum boots level. Once I service the precess, interface level doesn't change and it stay the same.

- Measuring range: 356mm
- connection: 2" 150#
- Temp.: 42(Celsius), Pressure: -0.67kg/cm2
- Specific gravity: upper 0.843(Hydrocarbon), lower 0.973(Water)

Any references regarding this kind of problem?

It is, of course, possible that the level isn¹t moving.

Interface level is a seriously hard measurement to make.

How EXACTLY are you measuring interface level? Please give more information.

Is there an emulsion (rag) layer?

If you need help, supply more information on what you are working on like the details of the instrument and it's installation, the type and size of your vessel and more on the process itself and what you are trying to achieve.

Some of us have a lot of knowledge and experience and can help but we are not wizards and mind readers. If you need help give us the information about your application. The more information you supply the better we can assist.

Like Walt said I/F measurements can get confusing and can vary from one application to the other so a helful answer will have to be more than just one sentence; but no one can or will help you if you don't give us something to work with.
