I would ask if you have any paper copy of the program or the software to look at it online available?
It's old enough it maybe a simpler to start over if you have a good understanding of the process. The 620's weren't too powerful by today's measure, so it wouldn't be too much work I wouldn't think.

You'll have to redo the same logic if it is in ladder logic.
If you use tools such as LabView(compatible with a wide range of PLCs, it might be possible only if the functionality are compatible.
The problem is that different manufacturers add different functions to the PLC program, so would have a hard time converting it directly from one PLC to another (Different brand).
Normally each manufacturer develops PLC programs on their own programming /developing software.
