H-Infinity Control

In H-Infinity control of a quarter car model, weighting functions are chosen based on the design objectives. But I noticed that, except for those on the inputs, the weighting functions don't actually go back to the controller or plant! They are just placed at the output before the final output signal.

In this case, what is the need for weighting functions on those outputs which don't go back to the controller?
