High Leg on 3 Phase Power

I am running a compressor that requires 3 phase power. The location where the compressor is located has single phase power so I got a convertor to generate 3 phase power. The issue I am having is while my compressor is running, the first 2 legs are pulling 51 amps, and the third leg is pulling 31 amps. The max the compressor can run is 49 amps. How can I bring the Amps down in my first two legs to be closer to my third leg?

You might check the balance of the 3 phases. And some of the things they sell as converters won't do much better than that. To balance, the phases have to be 120 degrees apart and the waveforms at least resemble each other, if not a sine waveform. Tell us what type of converter and perhaps we can be of more help. Are there any single phase loads?
