currently i am working on MODBUS communication protocol. I am new with this protocol. actually my objective is my master (TI Microcontroller) wants to read the data (Holding Register Data) of the Socomec energy meter (i.e Slave). Before writing the microcontroller program i have tested in modscan and Doclet softwares to send the data to the energy meter. at that time i was getting the data reply back. After that i have done microcontroller programming. what i have send the data in Modscan Software but here the problem is. i am not getting the data back.
So please help me. I think it is not needed to follow the free Modbus library why because the slave is only the Energy Meter.
