It's my first time working with profibus. i have already installed gsd and networked profibus in step7 hw configuration, and inserted base module 16DO with Q address 0..1 according to z profibus manual.
how can i program in s7 to control the 16 valve outputs? I have set the dip switch on the festo module based on the manual to the profibus address, and the bus fault led is off on the module. the s7 300 plc the connections seems ok. but when i tried putting a coil with address q0.0 and giving it power flow in ladder language nothing happens on the festo module. can any body suggest me what to do?
