I have been modeling Hydraulic Turbine (HT). There is a requirement to model Run away speed from the customer. Basic modeling of HT is done using first principles and running fine.
As i take up this run away speed, all i have is run away speed characteristic curves: Speed vs Wicket Gate Opening(WGO) and Discharge v/s WGO. Understood the curves, but how they get linkage to basic model that i have built is the missing part that i have been exploring.
Any help in understanding Run away characteristics of HT with basic modeling would be of much help to me to proceed.
