This is a great site..here is lots of really helpful instruction and guide. Thanks for sharing.

I am looking for How to calculate cable size, M.T.S and MDP for 700KVA Generator. And also what are the parameters I need to consider for calculations? Appreciate if you could help in these subjects...

Can I get a cable sizing, MTS and MDP calculation spreadsheet or something?

M.T.S: means manual transfer switch and MDP: Means main distribution penal board

But you should always design according to local codes. Also keep in mind cable derating factors which can be found in almost any cable catalog. Your input data should include environmental data, including earth properties if cable is underground. All generator data and load average time usage factors must be known. Cable length and type of installation also. Bear in mind the average lightning days and all other environmental risks at location.
