My company want to restructure and want to reduce from two control room techs to one. The only thing is, each man ran a different system. one ran DCS and the other Delta V. Is there any regulations that I could check out? as I believe we would be constantly hearing different alarm sound and it would be physically impossible to emergency shut down all our plants with a one man show. Any advice please.
