We have the ExaOPC license which we use for OPC clients (usually custom scripts) to read/write tags into the DCS. This is not the best way to connect two Yokogawa projects.
In order to connect two projects you need the "Multiple Project Connection Package" license LHS4450-V11. We use this to connect 3 projects together - Centum VP r5.02 + Centum CS3000 3.09 + Centum CS 2.xx. This license needs to be purchased for every HIS (operator station) that accesses both projects.
You will need to ensure your projects don't exceed the total tag limit for a HIS (100k? 200k? - we use the Million tag license also), and obviously your HIS will need to work a little harder.
