Utility Boiler Combustion Control

We have a 80TPH Gas Fired Utility Boiler which has been commissioned recently. We have Main Steam Temp Control, 3 Element Boiler Drum Level Control, and Fuel Combustion Control. Under Normal Load (<75 TPH) all three control schemes are running smoothly without any issue. But in the peak load (>=79 TPH) controlability is becoming very poor, and we have to take the control valves to manual to save the systems from tripping.

Can anybody suggest the possible reason for such poor controlability in peak load.

We will need more info in order to provide much assistance. What part of the control is unstable? what is tripping? what type of controls are being used (individual loop controllers, PLC, other)? fuel, number of burners, manufacturer, etc.? What tools do you have to look at controller settings?
