I have an absolute PT, newly delivered and installed. Now I think I have a problem.

The thing is it should show around 1 bar if I'm correct, but it shows zero now. I'm pretty sure it has been calibrated in our contractor's shop and also zero set at site before I get my hands on it! It is most possible that they have screwed up the factory calibration and dealt with it as a gauge PT.

My question is could something like this happen if they do not know and care that this is an absolute transmitter? What are the effects and how it can be rectified?

Output error.
1) Recommission, and 2) if that don't work, return to sender.
