The "how" part of it is easy, there is no difference in the connections.
But the "if" question that you didn't ask is more important. We can't answer that for you, you must contact the manufacturer of the equipment and ask them if it will function correctly at 208V. Some can, some can't.
Then the "should" question comes into play as well. Given that you needed to ask this question in an anonymous internet forum, we can deduce that you are not a qualified electrical professional. If so, you SHOULD hire one to do this. But only after you get an answer on the "if" part.
hmm. a lot of times 208V stuff is three phase. very few homes are three phase. if by chance it is 208V single phase, chances are pretty good it will work Ok on 240V single phase, but you would need to check the nameplate to be sure.
